Adobe Captivate
With Captivate’s responsive design and media-rich content, we manage everything from text realignment to caption syncing across translations.

1. .STORY – The Core Project File
- This is the original working file created in Articulate Storyline.
- It includes everything – from slides, text, triggers, animations, interactions, and media.
- We work directly with the .story file to prepare it for localization and post-translation formatting.
2. .XLIFF – Translation-Ready Format
- Articulate supports exporting text content as XLIFF (XML Localization Interchange File Format).
- This allows for seamless translation in any CAT tool and re-import without layout loss.
- XLIFF helps automate much of the localization process, maintaining structure and formatting.
3. .DOCX / .XLSX – Alternative Text Exports
- Some clients prefer text exported to Word (.docx) or Excel (.xlsx) for manual translation workflows.
- Both formats support partial automation and are compatible with custom QA tools.
- We ensure smooth re-integration, even with non-standard formats.
4. .HTML5 / .ZIP – Final Published Output
- Once localized and reviewed, content is published as HTML5 or SCORM-compliant .ZIP files for Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Our team conducts a full visual and functional QA on the published output to catch any formatting or interactivity issues in the target languages.
5. Media Assets & Support Files
We also handle and localize embedded media to ensure a fully translated experience:
- Audio –
.mp3,.wav(voiceover files) - Subtitles –
.srt,.vtt(captioning for audio/video) - Images/UI –
.png,.jpg,.svg(localized visuals and user interface elements) - Video –
.mp4,.mov(narrated or embedded training videos) - Web objects –
.html(embedded interactive content)
Professional layout adaptation for all translated languages

Font compatibility and support for non-Latin and RTL scripts
Visual consistency checks across all devices
