From source files to fully localised outputs,

1. .STORY – The Core Project File

This is the original working file created in Articulate Storyline.

It includes everything – from slides, text, triggers, animations, interactions, and media.

We work directly with the .story file to prepare it for localization and post-translation formatting.

2. .XLIFF – Translation-Ready Format

Articulate supports exporting text content as XLIFF (XML Localization Interchange File Format).

This allows for seamless translation in any CAT tool and re-import without layout loss.

XLIFF helps automate much of the localization process, maintaining structure and formatting.

3. .DOCX / .XLSX – Alternative Text Exports

Some clients prefer text exported to Word (.docx) or Excel (.xlsx) for manual translation workflows.

Both formats support partial automation and are compatible with custom QA tools.

We ensure smooth re-integration, even with non-standard formats.

4. .HTML5 / .ZIP – Final Published Output

Once localized and reviewed, content is published as HTML5 or SCORM-compliant .ZIP files for Learning Management Systems (LMS).
